The brown cloth boards each have many white speckles but little other wear other than several nicks to the tips of each spine. Each have soiled page edges and the half title page of each volume has large owners details in ink dated 1925 facing a small stamp to the ffep. Both volumes have many uncut pages but the contents are otherwise very good. The front endpapers over the first volume have had a glue repair. The rear endpapers have not and are slightly cracked.
