The red cloth boards are bright with some staining to the lower board and with knocked and worn corners to the upper board. Lettering to the upper board is bright but faded to the rubbed and slightly worn spine. Cracked front endpapers otherwise soundly bound. Rubbed and slightly soiled page edges, tanned half title & title page and torn tissue guard to frontisplate. There is light foxing to a small number of pages otherwise the text is very good. The large number of plates are also in very good clean condition so overall a good sound copy. The map case is worn and torn with a heavily soiled spine and split entirely at the top The upper board is bright but the lower board is stained and soiled - a poor to fair copy. All the panoramic photographs are present and in good to very good clean condition with minor wear and tear. Please note the case is missing maps No. 1, No. 2 and 15. The others are largely in very good clean condition with minor wear. A very heavy set for overseas shipping purposes. Sent from our bookshop in the UK. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; xxiii,[1],370,[2] pages
